Product Overview

Our Non-Ionic Softener Flake is a high-performance fatty acid and polyol–based finishing agent designed for fabrics requiring zero shade change, instant hydrophilicity, and a soft, fluffy hand feel. Specially developed for white, light-colored, and terry fabrics, it offers superior stability against salts, alkalis, and hard water.

Ideal for both denim and garment finishing, this softener ensures consistent results without yellowing or affecting fabric color.

Physical & Chemical Properties

• Composition: Fatty acid & polyol compounds

• Appearance: Off-white flakes

• pH (10% dilution): 7.0 – 8.5

• Ionicity: Non-ionic

Dilution Method (Hot Dilution)

• Add softener flakes into room temperature water at 5%–10% concentration

• Heat to 65°C–75°C while stirring

• Maintain temperature and stir for 20–30 minutes

• Seal during cooling to prevent skin formation

• Use once the mixture becomes a uniform slurry

Application Guidelines

Padding Method

• Dosage: 20–50 g/L (10% dilution)

• Pick-up rate: 60%–100%

• Suitable for one-dip-one-pad or two-dip-two-pad processes

Exhaust Method

• Dosage: 2%–5% (o.w.f) using 10% dilution

• Process: 25°C–40°C × (5–30 minutes)

• Liquor ratio: 1:6 – 1:20
