Product Overview

Super Softener Flake is a high-quality fatty acid imidazoline–based softener specially designed for denim and garment washing applications. It provides exceptional softness, smoothness, and improved surface feel on cotton, poly/cotton blends, and all denim fabrics. Ideal for both exhaust and padding processes, it ensures consistent finishing performance with excellent fabric compatibility.

Physical & Chemical Properties

• Composition: Fatty acid imidazoline compound

• Appearance: Yellow flakes

• pH (6–10% slurry): 4.0 – 6.0

• Ionicity: Cationic

Dilution Method

Cold Dilution

• Add softener flakes/tablets into water at 25°C–30°C

• Dosage 5%–10%

• Soak for 45–60 minutes until fully swollen

• Stir gently to create a uniform slurry

Hot Dilution

• Add flakes/tablets at 5%–10% concentration

• Heat to 50°C–65°C while stirring

• Maintain temperature and stir for 20–30 minutes

• Seal during cooling to prevent skin formation

Application Guidelines

Padding Method

• Dosage: 20–50 g/L (using 10% dilution)

• Pick-up rate: 60%–100%

Exhaust Method

• Dosage: 2%–5% (o.w.f) using 10% dilution

• Process: 25°C–40°C × 5–30 min

• Liquor ratio: 1:6 – 1:20
